Went out primarily to teach my mate Richard the basics. He did well for his first ever session. Managed to uphaul and sail 20 metres or so before falling of.
Wish I'd brought the 6.8 cammed racing sail and it woulda been a real nice session blasting about on the flat water so I had to make do with the nackered old Gun 6.3 sail. When the gusts came through I managed to get onto the plane so it was a case of practising light wind manouveres again. Its all about time on the water so I cant complain. Just as we were packing up the wind filled into a steady 15 knots and I easily maged to get onto the plane and had a few runs blasting back and forth across the shipping channel.
